DVXtract
DVXtract is a Windows utility for analysing Emerson DeltaV FHX
export files. It provides a structured view of the objects in an
FHX file and allows selected objects and their dependencies to be
extracted into a new FHX file.
Key Features
- Analyse DeltaV FHX export files without modifying the source file.
- Browse FHX objects in a structured tree view.
- Display recognised DeltaV object types using familiar names.
- Select individual objects or complete object groups.
- Search for objects using text and wildcard expressions.
-
Automatically select referenced dependencies, including
Function Block Definitions, Module Classes, Phase Classes
and Recipes.
- Export selected objects to a new FHX file.
- Operate completely offline.
Designed for DeltaV Engineering
Large DeltaV FHX exports can contain thousands of objects.
Finding and extracting a particular set of modules, classes,
recipes or other configuration objects manually can be
time-consuming and error-prone.
DVXtract simplifies this process by presenting the objects in
a structured tree. Objects can be selected directly or found
using wildcard searches. Referenced objects can then be added
automatically before the selection is exported to a new FHX file.
Portable Windows Application
DVXtract does not require installation. Download the ZIP file,
extract all files to a folder of your choice and run
DVXtract.exe.
